SERVICE-Dual shoe external expanding, mechanically actuated by

accumulator and pressure compensating piston pump.
Accumulator provides uniform steering regardless of engine speed. In

two lock-to-lock turns.
A lowpressure indicator light warns of system pressure below 83 bar
